Jesuitenplatz 1-3, Koblenz
Above, hotel. Below, cafe.
I have always found dinner to be excellent.
The food was delicious ... I don't really like this self-service concept ... And coffee from the cup ... Well ... If you don't mind it, you will definitely enjoy your stay there!
I had a little stop there and had a very good breakfast. Very polite staff. I felt very comfortable there. So good that we were there twice in one day. Have another cup of coffee.
I've never stayed in such a bad hotel. There are only two appliances like TVs and hair dryers, with spider webs hanging on the chandeliers! The restaurant downstairs is very noisy, there are no sockets by the bed, only two simple cabinets and no door...
Good location, seats inside and outside. Unfortunately only self-service although m. E. enough staff running around
We went there in the afternoon for cafe and cake. The business principle of ordering and picking up at the counter takes some getting used to, but the cakes, tea and coffee are of good quality and delicious. Despite October we could still sit outside, blankets were laid out, and it was very cozy and homely on Jesuitenplatz. We will be back. Note: the toilet is on the first floor, not accessible for wheelchair users.
Super nice rooms and great view. As soon as the windows are closed, you can't hear anything from outside. Top insulated! Nice bathroom! There is no elevator as the building is a listed building. Reception is unfortunately downstairs in the café, which was a bit confusing and of course a lot going on. But it was quick. Always happy.
Cake tastes boring. We had the Danube Wave and the poppy cake - both tasted like baking mixes, a shame. The coffee and tea were good. You have a beautiful view of Jesuitenplatz through the large Fenscher.
Not for everyone, but we loved it!
Very friendly staff, good location, delicious coffee and cake ... would like to go back.
Very nice cafe in the heart of Koblenz in the middle of the old town on Jesuitenplatz. Cappuccino & Apfelschmandtorte get the grade 1. Strammer Moritz super delicious: 1+
I think the concept and the furnishings are mega, creative bread ideas, no uniformity; the operation was nice three times in a row, although there is still room for improvement. The coffee is delicious, the milk foam could be a bit more barista-like (and please leave out the cocoa powder), but a place in the sun definitely makes up for it. What is not possible, however, is that an employee, after clearing tables, lays bread on her bare hands without washing her hands and smears them (not for me). Maybe at home, not here. Especially since the prices for self-service are, to be honest, difficult to understand. Last week we were there for breakfast ourselves, the bread and the salad weren't the freshest either, which I naturally expect at 7.50. But I don't want to have, I will definitely come back because I basically like the space and the concept and the things on offer and something in KO is still in short supply - and I just hope that you will work on everything a little more.
Yes, self-service and yes, you think it's difficult to get a seat outside when the weather is great. The range of dishes is very good and always worth a stop for breakfast. Friendly employees ensure that the process runs smoothly, albeit a bit inconvenient due to Corona. But everything is very well organized. We always like to go and enjoy the food, coffee and the sun. Keep it up.
Totally nice staff and great offer. We'd love to come back :)
Stylish room + bathroom, delicious breakfast menu. Location very good. ONE female operator was totally annoyed, which is why I had breakfast elsewhere from the 2nd day onwards, too bad ...
A very nice "bread bar" - the service is super friendly. I have never seen the idea of homemade spreads like this before. and it's delicious too.
Great hotel with a very tasty and unusual breakfast. At night it is very noisy but the windows are super soundproof. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning ... so you have to endure the noise in summer
Wanted to sit outside and work a bit on a sunny day Problem was: no service. Every time you want a new drink, you gotta pack all your stuff and walk back in. While the coffee and pastries were actually nice, the attitude was a disaster. Poor dude in front of me had a walking disability. He asked for help to safely get his coffee to the table and the service lady said with a big smile: you'll manage. If I had not told others to meet me there I would have left, vowed to never return.
I can highly recommend it. For me it was self-service, but I have no idea whether that's always the case. Coffee tastes delicious.
Great cake! Best in town!
So briefly to me;) When I go out for a coffee, I want it to be cozy and beautiful 🙈 Why that is, I have no idea, maybe because it really is an hour to switch off from the world. And that's exactly what I found at the wonderful Altstadt Hotel & Café in Koblenz. Personally, I find the ambience and the furnishings mega beautiful and cozy, the music is also precisely coordinated with the flair ichtnot too loud, no hardcore rock or hip hop but really nice, I call it café music 🎶 The coffee as well as the tea varieties (yes, I've got pretty much everything there) are very good for the price, you can really complain about nothing! If you would like something sweet (also very popular at tea time), I recommend the great cakes in the showcase next to the cash register. They not only look delicious, they also taste that way! For those who like it hearty there are of course delicious salads, paninis and much more. It would also be important to mention: Yes, it is self-service, but I don't find it bad at all on the contrary, so you have privacy and peace at the table and if you want something you can just go up and get a look :) I can hardly wait to take my mother there and I recommend that you stop by for a great coffee and cake, you won't regret it!
Very good café in the center of Koblenz. The sandwiches are all very good, and the selection of cakes and tarts that change every day is also highly recommended. It is a shame that the prices have increased enormously compared to last year (€ 7 for a sandwich). Nevertheless, I would recommend the café because of the good quality of the products offered.
Favourite breakfast place in Koblenz
A great place for snacks and drinks
Subep place! Fantastic Caffè and Snacks
Nice it’s in the center and good service
Nice location. Friendly service. Good food
We were staying 1 night in a couple room. The hotel location is in the heart of Koblenz center, in a beautiful cultural place and shopping areas, not far from the river by foot. The room was very clean and tidy, facing to the center square. The hotel is well maintained. Breakfast is not included. However, I recommend eating in the hotel's restaurant: The dishes are served very nice decorated and the food is home made. There is no elevator, this is the only deficiency I found. The hotel staff is very serviceable, with warm welcome altitude.
Great location, High class and modern. Friendly staff who are very good English speaking. Excellent room. Very good breakfast.
Value for money. Nice location.
Great hotel, very spacious rooms and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Food was excellent and the prices for everything were very reasonable. You see that these people love their job. When i am in Koblenz this is my hotel to stay at.
Expensive but decent breakfast on a sunny square overlooking the old town.
The Avocadobrot was very good!
Very nice cafe and hotel SUPER Nice service and everything very well arranged ... the food is freshly prepared in front of the guest ... the prices are reasonable everything was very good ... very satisfied
Large room. Comfort and new facility. good service. have a the best chic restaurant in the hotel!!!" nice location close everything !!!
Superb location, room and staff.
Great food, nice staff, pleasant atmosphere
Wonderful.
Excellent location, nice and simple rooms, great cafe and friendly staff. No elevator but not too bad.
Cozy atmosphere
I was just there for a breakfast. Excellent service and good food. Recommended!
Very friendly staff
Boutique hotel, comfortable, fabulous location on a public square. Close to bars and eating spots. Easy walk to the confluence, 30 minutes walk to the train station. No elevator, so cart that luggage up the spiral staircase. We loved the place, stayed an extra day.
Best coffee in the city!
Location, cleanliness very good. No one on site after 6pm for check in or problems. Breakfast to be purchased from cafe with poor choice. Parking 200 m away for 15eur.
I only experienced the cafe, but it had delicious paninis at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We had coffee at the cafe. Very cute place in the heart of old town Koblenz. We don't speak any German but the barista was very helpful and explained the menu to us in English.
Hotel manager was a bit rude by American standards, but overall the hotel was very clean, breakfast was great, and the location was ideal.
The restaurant and hotel were very clean and the workers were all friendly - they had fabulous coffee as well!
faraway from starbucks to make a coffee, it is not enough to have a good equipment. Credit card from 70€!!!
